Glad you took the time to find us! This is the website for the Hotel Corpus Christi Bayfront, an historic and colorful hotel with a lot to offer leisure and business travelers alike.

From here you can make a reservation, read about the hotel, join our community and forum, look at pictures of the hotel, learn about our meeting space and banquet capabilities (some of the largest in Corpus Christi) and find out about food and beverages available on the property.

If you have never been to the hotel, here's a brief introduction:  
Hotel Corpus Christi Bayfront has been compared to The Overlook Hotel from Steven King's The Shining, and to Hotel Earle in Barton Fink. We are not offended but this hotel is unique and distinctly different from those fictional locations in many ways.

This is not a cookie-cutter hotel in a freeway strip mall. If you're accustomed to the Residence Inn or the Hampton, you are in for a change when you stay with us. Hotel Corpus Christi Bayfront (HCCB) is an older hotel built on a site previously occupied by the Royal Nueces Hotel. (See History) This location has been the center of activity in Corpus Christi for more than a century.

They don't build hotels like this anymore. It was constructed in 1973 by the Barshop Family of San Antonio, who built the La Quinta chain of business travelers' hotels. Originally called the La Quinta Royale, it was built with cutting-edge concrete innovations later further improved by the Barshops in their subsequent projects. As the previous building was destroyed by hurricanes, the HCCB was made to resist their powerful winds.

The HCCB may not be the Omni, but this hotel has character and charm not found in modern structures. When you look outside your window you will see the ocean, the harbor, the Marina, or downtown Corpus Christi, not a Denny's or Chili's or Wal-Mart.

HCCB enjoys a location that can't be beat. You are literally steps from the Bay, the Selena monument, and a wide array of unique and eclectic selection of local restaurants and nightclubs. You can look out your window and see North Beach, The USS Lexington, and the Texas State Aquarium, which are just minutes away. A short walk takes you to the American Bank Center, Corpus Christi's convention facility.

Our rooms are large and comfy, and fall into four categories: Economy Rooms which offer an experience on par with a Motel 6 or Super 8; Value Rooms which are one step higher; Jr. Suites which are at least as nice as any accommodations you will find in Corpus Christi; and the large suites which are unparalleled in spacious accommodation of families and groups travelling together. Each tier of luxury is priced accordingly.
